Ford Mustang (1999-2004) Service Manual: Water Pump
Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Drain the coolant. For additional information, refer to Supercharger Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding in this section.
3. Remove the retainer and position the inner fender well aside.

4. Disconnect the water pump electrical connector.

5. Disconnect the coolant hoses.

6. Remove the bolts and the water pump.

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
